WELCOME!

We're so glad you decided to check us out!

Whether you're a long time church goer or brand new we hope your first time visiting us will be encouraging and exciting. We hope the following topics will answer any questions you may have, but if we missed something please feel free to contact us at 601-795-4531 or firstbaptistpoplarville@gmail.com.

Do I need to wear my "Sunday Best"?

You're welcome to come as you are! We're a collection of people of all ages, but with one unified purpose: to passionately pursue God's vision for life.

When should I arrive?

If this is your first time visiting us, we suggest you arrive a little early so that our greeters can help you find where you need to go. You'll never be too late to join though!

Where do I go once I arrive?

If you're attending our main service at 11 AM please join us in the sanctuary and sit wherever you'd like.

What about my children?

Every Sunday from 9:45 to 10:45 AM all kids (babies through 5th grade) can join us for an array of fun and creative activities where they can learn about God's word. They'll meet on the first floor of the main building, and our guest services will be more than happy to help your children find their classroom.

For the main service at 11 AM, infants can stay in our nursery while children join the adults in the main sanctuary.

How can I become a member?

There are a few ways you can join the church.

  • Trusting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and following him in believer’s baptism.

  • Moving your membership from another Baptist church.

  • Moving your membership from another evangelical church that practices believer’s baptism.

  • Affirming your commitment to Christ and participating in believer’s baptism by immersion.

For more information on joining the church please contact Pastor Kipp Smith at 601-795-4531 or firstbaptistpoplarville@gmail.com.
